The center rescues and rehabilitates native wildlife that has been injured, displaced, and orphaned. Once rehabilitated, they are returned to the wild. Sanctuary is provided to animals that cannot be released back to the wild.
It is home to 90 resident sanctuary animals including Bears, Tortoise, Mexican Gray Wolves, Mountain Lions, Coyotes, Bobcats, and even unique species such as Coatimundi and Javelina.
To be able to stand six feet from these creatures and really see and feel their magnificence is quite an experience and I encourage everyone to check them out if you're in the area.
